Foxy Critters on Artistry

You saw the cat and dog images I cut from the Artistry cartridge the other day. Besides just family pets, you can also find some of those cute critters from the wild. Like this adorable fox I'm sharing with you today using the sketch on Freshly Made Sketches. The tree stump is also cut from this cartridge and goes perfectly with Mr. Foxy!

The Artistry collection is available now to order. In just a few days you will be able to order all the new products in the 2015-2016 Annual Inspirations Book! Don't miss out on the deals ending this month though and those items retiring from the 2014-2015 Annual Book & Seasonal Expressions.

I'll see you on the first with all new items and specials!! ;)

Cute Critters On Artistry

I was having some fun with the images I could cut from the new Artistry cartridge. I love the animals that are on the cartridge like the hedgehog and fox, but I wanted to start out with some pets. These simple cat & dog images should be called Best 'Furr'iends!

I have to mention that the "Best friends" label is also cut from the Artistry cartridge and is stamped with one of the MyAcrylix stamp sets that comes with the collection. I dry embossed some paper for the background and used an older patterned paper to create a scene. With the cartridge doing most of the cutting, this card comes together quickly!

You can purchase the regular collection or digital edition today online!

Up, Up and Away

Time to get your Balloon Wishes (D1667) stamp set for FREE is running out! You can purchase the Marker Roll-Up this month and receive this stamp set for $0. I tried coloring in the balloon with a few different color combinations, but I finally decided that the blue, green and yellow colors were my favorite. I used the Shin Han Markers to color it it in. I mounted the finished balloon on some water colored paper and some vibrant yellow and lagoon cardstocks. I simply added the sentiment on the bottom with some sparkly green triangles.

What a lovely card and it was so relaxing to just sit and color the balloon. Wonder what colors I'll do next!??

Artistry Typewriter

The newest Close To My Heart Cricut Cartridge is available now. Do you own the Artistry collection yet? This is the collection that is available two different ways. You can purchase in the usual way receiving a cartridge with book, stamps and cardstock. Or you can purchase the new digital edition for those Cricut Explore & Explore Air users. I chose the digital collection myself, which was extremely easy to upload and start cutting right away in Design Space.

I tried out all sorts of new cuts from shapes, layers, banners, borders and icons. One of my favorite cuts was this little typewriter. I loved all the layers and that I could add a sentiment to the paper coming out of the roller! I decided to add my finished typewriter to a card. I have already returned to the classroom, so "back to school" was my theme!

I wanted the typewriter to appear as if it were sitting in front of a chalk board. I used some older Chalk it Up papers for the black board and stamped a sentiment with white daisy ink. There is a little bit of shimmery purple fundamentals paper underneath. Finally, I had to add the little coffee cup as it is essential morning fuel!

I will be making many more cards with these fun cuts from the Artistry cartridge, so visit my Blog again soon. You can purchase your own cartridge here!

Zoe in Studio J

You can find some new Zoe paper collections in Studio J. I took advantage of the Studio J Flash Sale a couple weeks ago and just couldn't resist one of the new Zoe Express Collections. Using this digital program is very easy, affordable and the prints are beautiful.

Here is what the collection looks like when you are in Studio J. You select the layout you want, upload and arrange where you want your photo's and add some journaling.

Not only do you receive the beautiful printed layout in the mail, but you can also download a JPG file which is what I'm sharing here with you.

I was able to capture the memories from our recent summer travels. I typically scrapbook the "old fashioned" way with papers, lots of thick embellishments and stamping, however when I have several pictures from a vacation, scrapbooking digitally just makes it so much easier!

Log onto my website and click on Studio J. You will need to create an account first, then you are ready to click and drop! The Zoe collection will only be available until September 30th!

Thank you for stopping by!

"It's like a marker burrito!"

I received my Marker Roll-Up just before the weekend. With the deal this month I also received the Balloon Wishes My Acrylix stamp set for FREE! I haven't had the chance to play with the stamp set yet, but I was able to fill up the marker roll-up and get organized.

Here is how I stored my markers previously. They are in reach easily as they sit in this 3-tiered wire rack. Cute as cupcakes, just as this rack is truly intended, it looks a little messy still!

I unwrapped & unsnapped the roll-up and laid it flat. Look how cute that heart button closure is! Plus, there is a loop inside of the flap so it can be hung vertically.

Then, I loaded it up with the markers I have. The elastic openings hold the markers perfectly and the entire product is made very well. It doesn't hurt that the colors match my scrapbook room too!

Finally, I rolled it up and snapped it shut. Now placed on the same wire rack it looks tidy and neat.

I love seeing all the colors when looking into the end, "It's like a marker burrito!", YUM!!

You can get the Marker Roll-Up deal this month or the Accessory Roll-Up which comes with two brand new Base & Bling style sheets, Affirmations and Lovely Blooms, FREE!

Please visit my website for more information or to order!

Ice Cream Dream Complete Layout

You're probably thinking... "Why is she posting about the Ice Cream Dream stamp set, that was two months ago?!" Maybe you can think of it as a little Flashback Friday!! {tee-hee} Plus, I would hope that it still inspires you by the use of papers, the color combination, using some new and old stamp sets or simply the template (sketch) of the pages.

You will recall that I created a 12x12 page using the adorable Ice Cream stamp set in June. You can see the original post here. I had a couple ideas of possible pictures that I could place on it. I thought maybe we could visit our local ice cream shop this summer or perhaps there would be a chance to visit a favorite stop with my nieces in Lake Tahoe. I was so excited to get to do the second choice! The 45 minute wait in line at Camp Richardson is worth the memories!!

Now I had a main photo for the original page I created, but I couldn't leave out the individual pictures I took of my kids and my 2 beautiful nieces. So, I created a companion page. This page was so easy to put together and was inspired by a layout in the newest Idea Book coming in September!

I loved using the different blocks of paper and photo's to fill this page. If there was not a photo in a square then I used it to build clusters of stamped images and embellishments. This was inspired by the layout I saw in the new book as I mentioned earlier. The stamp set they used however is not brand new, in fact you may already have it in your stash. It's called Documenting Moments and is a super functional stamp set.

Here are a few close-ups of the clusters in individual squares.

This cute camera is from the new stamp set found in the Zoe Workshop on the Go available now!

This layout just makes me happy! I hope it inspires you to do some crafting today!!

You can find the products I mentioned in this post online here.

Birthday Bash with Zoe and Mojo Monday

Hello, Happy Hump~Day!! Today I'm having a Birthday Bash with the new Zoe papers and complements. It's for the challenge this week on Heart 2 Heart Challenges Blog! The papers are so colorful and fun, they are perfect to use for a Birthday celebration. I am also using the sketch from Mojo Monday this week to guide my creation.

I did two versions using the different papers from the packet. You can see how one is a little more masculine and the second can I feel is very versatile for anyone!

I love the triangle paper, triangle embellishments and that coral shimmer tape is so cool!

The circular star on this card came directly from the Zoe Complements sticker sheet. Don't you just love the glitter in these triangles!

All of the products I used are available to order now!

Be sure to check out Mojo Monday for other ideas using this sketch. Also, stop by Heart 2 Heart Challenges to join in on the Birthday Bash!!

I made the layout as instructed in the brochure, but as always I changed a few elements here and there! I also used a few pieces from the Zoe Complements, sold separately from the kit. All of these items are available for purchase now.
