Week of Pages {Part 3} Love

Welcome back! Today I have some "lovely" pages to share with you. The Floral Tapestry papers were featured in the Close To My Heart Idea Book several years ago, but they were my favorite collection for quite some time. I love all the heartfelt sentiments on these pages as well as the hidden journaling tags.

Love ~

Week of Pages {Part 2} Cherish

Thanks for stopping by again! I continue my week of pages with the Cherish layouts. I honestly think these are my favorite pages. I love the color combination in the Topstitch papers, the festive banner, the "cherish" title and the large pocket of pull out cards for more photo's or journaling!

Week of Pages {Part 1} Animals at Play

Welcome to my week of pages. All this week I will share the pages I have been creating over the summer break. I've created these pages with some Level 1 and Level 2 papers along with some Stickease assortments. I created kits made up of 2 ~ two page layouts for a total of 4 pages. Many of these kits have been sold to my customers, however some are still for sale. So if your interested please contact me. My intentions to post them here on my blog are simply to give you inspiration and ideas for creating your own projects!

Whoooo loves you!

When I first saw the sketch this week on Mojo Monday, I thought how strange! What an interesting sketch this is and I was not sure what to do. Then I saw all the design team entries and was inspired.

I used Miracle papers and textured some kraft cardstock. I used various punches and lacey circles spellbinders die for all of the scallop pieces. The cute "hoot, hoot" really steals the show! He is part of a stamp set special that will be available in just 10 more days {Aug. 15th}.

You can see both stamps sets below and get all the info by clicking on the promo picture in the right hand column of my blog. Whoooo can refuse these darling images for FREE!

Banner ~ Bike ~ Birthday! {H2H challenge}

The challenge this week on the Heart 2 Heart Blog is to create a project for a child's Birthday. I created my card today with one of my own favorite Birthday gifts I received as a child. A bicycle!

There is such a thrill in receiving your first bike. Overcoming your fears learning to ride it, then getting the freedom to take off through the neighborhood to visit a friend. It's your first taste of freedom, before turning 16 and getting to drive a car!

I went with a girl theme, because I don't think a little boy would ride a bicycle with flowers in the basket! {Ha Ha} I stamped some stripes creating my own background card base, added some fun banner pieces with pearls and finally a simple sentiment.

Be sure to check out the other artwork on H2H and come back tomorrow as I will show you more artwork from this special stamp set.

Summer Time {BFF} Project

These two sweet girls have been the best of friends since 3rd grade. Sadly, my daughters BFF moved to another state in the summer before 4th grade. Luckily, she comes back to town to visit her grandparents in the winter and summer and makes sure to stop by for a short visit. Even though they are separated for a couple months at a time, they pick right up where they left off. Always full of giggles, they enjoy every minute together and never a teeny tiny disagreement between them, EVER!

To remember there time together I always take photo's and we come up with a little project to keep. This time we used pieces from the Mix-N-Mingle album.

This is the chaos after the creative process and what is left for me to clean up, because they want to spend every moment together hanging out!

Sooo Faux!

The challenge this week on RCC is to use stitching on your project. I chose to use some faux stitching on these little Thank You notes. I like to give these to my customers with their orders to show my appreciation.

You can see here that I've used some matching twine to tie them to the order bag.

Life is Good {mojo monday sketch}

Round or Square? Hmmm... I think I'll choose round! It just seems more challenging!

I had the chance to pull out my lacy circles die and an older favorite stamp set, Tree tops. I liked all the layers on this card and the color combination of Sky, Indian Corn Blue, Olive and Chocolate.

Be sure to see all the lovely artwork on the Mojo Monday Blog!

H2H Sketch Challenge ~ Celebrate Trike

It's a sketch challenge this week on the Heart 2 Heart Blog. I flipped my sketch and let the background paper really stand out. Here's the sketch:

The trike was not stamped, it's actually just the background of the Lucky paper. I used ribbon and buttons for the 3 stair stepped elements in the sketch. Finally, I added a brad and a "celebrate" sentiment.

Check out all the artwork using this sketch on the Heart 2 Heart Blog and come back here tomorrow for another sketch challenge.

"Foodie" Card Exchange

If your "hungry" for some creativity, then your in the right place! This past weekend I hosted a Foodie Card Exchange. The goal was to create a card with some type of food on it. They were also encouraged to create a "shapely" card.

First up is the card I created. A sweet cupcake that is shapely and also slides to reveal the sentiment.

Here are the other creations by some very talented ladies!
