Latte To Go!

I have shown you lots of ideas using the new Treats of Friendship stamp set from the Seasonal Expressions 2 book.

All the previous ideas I shared were cards. With a little Pinterest inspiration and a super cute card from Brenda Rose at Rose Blossom Legacies, I have created a 3D project. A great little gift idea for those coffee lover's in your life, especially those that are Keurig users!

This is a K-Cup Caddy, perfect for 2 of the Keurig cups. However, you can adhere 2 of the caddy's back to back and it becomes a holder for 4 cups! You can find the template here by Lori Tecler.

I was inspired by Brenda's card with her use of the Jackson papers and colors. It was so stunning and was perfect for this little project!

Some Familiar Faces in Seasonal Expressions 2!

It's always fun to get a new Idea Book and browse through the pages admiring all the beautiful artwork and writing out my "I want that" list of products! It's even more thrilling to turn the page and see the faces of your family in a gorgeous layout!

I submitted some photographs to corporate some time ago. They needed some outdoor adventure, biking, hiking type photo's. That's totally up my alley. I actually forgot about them, but strangely as I started to flip through the pages of the new Seasonal Expressions 2 book I thought about them. The very next page I turned there we were!! I was elated and the layout the artist created with them was amazing. Here is how the layout looks in the book on page 23 featuring the Campfire Lifestyle stamp set.

I wanted to re-create my own layout using some current photo's from a recent camping trip. I used the same Jackson paper and incorporated some PML cards, Boardwalk Washi tape, Jackson Complements, Jackson Assortment, Glacier twine and Oceanside sequins. {some older stamp sets were used also!}

A few close-up shots of the details. I had a blast using new stuff with these awesome papers.

 I took the tip on page 23 to make the Washi tape an attractive accessory to my page 

by simply taping it to cardstock and cutting it out!

 The HELLO portion on this tag was actually cut out from a PML card.

 This ticket is from the Complements sheet and you can see just a bit of bronze shimmer trim.

 I can't decide if I like the feather or sentiment more from the Complements sticker sheet. {arrow Washi tape is not CTMH :( sorry}

I couldn't resist pulling out some older stamp sets on this tag.

This sentiment was actually taken from a zip strip on the Jackson papers. The trees in the circle is from the Jackson Assortment which is a metal-rimmed piece and very cool!

I absolutely love the layout that was created with my family pics and hope that my own rendition is comparable. Regardless, it will always remind me of the time I had my family photo's featured in the SE2 publication!

It's All New!!

This month is super exciting! I'm a little overwhelmed right now composing this post, hoping that I don't leave out any important information. The month of April kicks off a brand new Seasonal Expressions 2 catalog, an adorable Stamp of the Month and a Big Deal everyday!

The first exciting news is that Seasonal Expressions 2 is live today {no fooling}! This book will ignite your summer creativity with some lovely new paper collections and fun embellishments throughout. I'm already in love with the two new paper kits and was blown away to see some of my own photographs featured in some artwork. {I will share that with you later this month!}

The Jackson paper has awesome prints in mellow earth tones. These papers are perfect for your outdoor adventures this summer or anytime. The Complements have a wide variety of images and phrases. There is more Washi tape that coordinates with the collection called Boardwalk. The sequins is called Oceanside and the Jackson Assortment includes 5 metal-rimmed, enamel filled pieces that are adorable. It will be very hard for me not to just hoard these, but to actually include them on my projects!

A Quick Note: Hello

Freshly Made Sketches had a simple, clean sketch this week that I had to give a try. I also got a head start on creating some fun cards using April's Stamp of the Month, Typed Note. {come back April 1st for more details} I even dragged out my dusty old typewriter to use as a photo prop!

BTW~ You might just see something else on this card that is brand new!! Look closely!
