Special Care Card Kit

I was inspired by this month's Stamp of the Month and decided to use it for creating a sweet little card kit! The kit is contained in a Birchbox and includes 10 cards with envelopes, stamped sentiments, pre-cut cardstock and patterned paper, grey twine and accessories that include buttons and clothespins.

The cover of the kit {top of box} shows the design of the card. It is a simple template that can be altered. The colors are bright and colorful and can easily be mixed and matched. I used one patterned paper from the Sarita collection. It's a fun design and can be feminine or masculine!

Here are just some examples of how the cards can be assembled. Each one will be different making it a unique kit!

Here are all the pieces tied up with string. Everything fits nicely in the box.

Those sentiments are super cute! If you haven't purchased your December Stamp of the Month yet you only have until December 31st. Shop online here.

Frosted Card Kit

I shared the Laughing Lola Workshop on the Go Card Kit with you earlier. We talked about the great value of these kits and how easy it is to create 15 beautiful handmade cards. I don't know about you, but I make the most cards in the littlest amount of time for the Holidays. Trying to beat the deadline of sending all those Christmas cards is always a challenge. With the Frosted Card Kit it will be easy and quick!

I'm not going to show all the cards with variations like I did with the Laughing Lola cards. Instead I want to show you how easily you can use the stamp set included in the kit to create completely different Holiday cards. Think outside of the brochure!!

These are the cards as instructed in the brochure~

Here are a few ideas using that stamp set with different colors and papers.~

You will notice some fun stamping techniques and recognize some papers that are not "holiday" themed. That's part of the fun! My card designs all came from the new Make It From Your Heart Volume 2 book. (this book is awesome and a must have!)

You can order the Laughing Lola and Frosted Card Kits with me or online here. Experience the fun of creating these cards and the value of the kits!

Celebrate Everyday ~ Celebrate Childhood

I received the new Everyday Celebration Card Kit. It is really a wonderful card kit filled with everything you need to create 16 beautifully unique cards. I decided to create half on my cards exactly as instructed in the book provided. I then created the other 8 cards using papers from Grace level 2 and the Childhood Portrait stamp. It was very interesting to see that the same cards could look so different.

This is the kit and the cards:

Here are the same cards using the different paper and stamps:
Here are some of the cards side by side. You will notice that some of the smaller details vary from the original, but still uses the same basic design:

From Me to You {with Grace}

This is an older card kit that was offered as a promotion some time ago. I thought I would use it up before receiving the new card kit being offered for National Stamping Month. Instead of using the colors in the kit I used some of the new Grace papers in the Autumn/Winter Idea Book. This is the brochure for the kit and the stamp set that came with it.

Holiday Workshop

This year's Holiday Workshop is Merry & Bright! Attendees will be making this darling mini-accordian album using a portion of the Merry and Bright card kit. By adding some cardstock and a few embellishments they will complete an entire mini album along with a box to store it all in. Perfect to keep your own Holiday memories in or great to give as a gift to someone this season. Workshop guests will be amazed at how fast, simple and easy it is to create this lovely little album.
