I recently did a big clean up and re-organized my scrapbook room. Once I get it all done I feel much better and am able to create again. I love finding older items I forgot I had....some of you know what I mean! I hate that I've forgotten about such wonderful products and want to put them to use rather than let them continue to be forgotten. I can only guess that this happens, because we are thrilled to see and use the new items!!
So I decided to use the older chipboard pieces from the My Originals Sweet Surprises Card Kit. This was a kit that included treat cups to fill with candy and supplied you with everything you needed to complete 3D cards with a box style envelope. Because they are such a thick card when completed I decided to use them as a gift card that I would personally hand to the recipient. Therefore, I made a to/from tag to wrap around the envelope.
For the new product, I chose some Fundamental Papers from the Whimsy and Adventure Assortment! I love these papers, they are certainly one of my favorite new items and was just the touch of pizzaz I needed for these sweet cards!
Here are all 4 cards~
Here are each of the cards with the decorated envelope and tag~
lastly, just the tags~
The Sweet Surprises Card Kit is no longer available, but the Paper Fundamentals are. I would suggest getting them in every color, they are simply stunning! Shop online here.

C-T-M-H Challenge on Heart 2 Heart!
I'm just a little bit behind on this challenge. This was Heart 2 Heart Blog's challenge last week. Create a project using items that represent C-T-M & H! Here is what I decided for my letters~
C is for~ Camper! I am in love with the new Camper Crazy MyAcrylix stamp set. {don't worry, you can order yours in just a few more days!}
T is for~ Trees! Just a few cute trees stamped in Topiary ink.
M is for~ Mist! I sprayed just a bit of Color Shine misting spray in Citron and Teal. It creates the background of forest and sky.
H is for~ Heart! These campers are happy in love! My chipboard heart was sprayed with the mist in Sweet Cherry then sponged with a dauber in Tulip.

Hello, I Miss You!
Today I am playing with Freshly Made Sketches. They have a clean and simple sketch with a popular flag banner sentiment. I pulled in some older Dotty For You striped paper and some practically ancient sassy strands. The end result is a fun card that would bring a smile to someone you've been missing!

Bicycle Canvas Art
I have a fun project to share with you today. One of the newest Home Decor items available in the Spring Idea Book are these awesome 6x6 canvas displays. I of course had to go with a bicycle theme!
I am also entering this at Heart 2 Heart Challenges this week for their Home Decor challenge! I can't wait to add more canvas displays of my favorite things and create a whole wall in my scrap room!!
The canvas display comes in a natural color. I roughly painted the sides and about 1 inch from the edges on the top. I used this great paint color called Caribbean, but it reminds me of Close To My Heart's Lagoon color!
I then used Mod Podge to adhere a square of the chevron patterned For Always paper. I let that dry over night then added the other elements which included some Chantilly papers, embossed bicycle, color ready ribbon, and a chipboard bubble with an embossed sentiment.
I love how cute it turned out! Can you imagine several colorful variations decorating a lonely space on your wall! Be sure to check out the other creations for your home decorating needs at Heart2Heart!
