I've used the sketch from Mojo Monday this week and the colors of pink & red from Dynamic Duo's. I chose Close To My Heart colors of Cotton Candy and Cranberry on a nice clean white background. These little owls are so in love...what a hoot!

Oh Valentine Tree!
The Whooo's Your Valentine Kit has been a big hit so far. The treat tubes, darling stamp set and fabulous glitter paper has attracted many to wanting this kit! I have a project for you today that will make you want it even more!
Awhile back one of my customers showed me these paper mache cones she purchased at a craft store. We all started brain storming ideas for them, then along came the Whooo's Your Valentine kit and I knew instantly what to do!
Why only have trees at Christmas? They are darling for Valentine's Day too!
Last Friday the ladies came over for some crafting and each made their own tree. Some used the stamp set from the kit, while a few used some coordinating papers. All the hearts were cut on the Artiste cartridge making the job a whole lot easier, considering each tree takes over 100 hearts. We still had 2 Cricut's running for a good hour or so! My tree was done with some Blush, Cotton Candy, Tulip, Lagoon and Sky inks. However, these clever ladies worked some of the new glitter paper into theirs and they looked amazing!
The Whooo's Your Valentine Kit is only available for a few more days. For more details and to purchase your kit, visit my online shop here.

For Always Valentine
I really like working with black and white, because it can be so versatile and allows an array of other colors to be added in. That's why I love the new For Always papers in the Close To My Heart Spring Idea Book available in just a few days!!!
I used the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches this week with a little hidden surprise! I chose the Tulip red as my pop of color for the challenge at Dynamic Duos. It is a retired color now, but is still one of my favorites, because it is not a super bright red or too dark!
{Edit: I am also entering this in Color My Heart's Color Dare challenge this week; black & white with a pop of color!}
All products are Close To My Heart. I've incorporated some older ribbons; Tulip red rosettes and Cotton Candy pink pom-pom, black glitter buttons available in the Spring Idea Book and the stamped sentiments are from the Whooo's Your Valentine Kit only available this month!

Little Love Bicycle!
Today's card is all about love and a pop of color! I am playing along with two challenges, The Paper Players and Dynamic Duos! I love the fresh, bright colors in this card and was able to play with the Whooo's Your Valentine stamp some more!
I loved the little bike in the Paper Players image, so I used it as inspiration. I'm a fan of bicycles as some may already know. Check out this little bike I found this weekend at Ross for only $14. I plan to paint it pink to look like my own cruiser as well as the little bicycle on the card!

Christmas Treat Tubes
The darling little treat tubes found in the current Whooo's Your Valentine Kit are not just for Valentines Day! I made some for Christmas filled with some peppermint candies. The base boxes are stamped with blue snowflakes and candy canes. They are finished with some twine and tags.
{The little tag says "No Peeking!" Ha... it's a see through tube....that's funny!}

Mojo Monday Owl Valentine
Just shifting gears a bit to some Valentine fun for this week's Mojo Monday sketch! I just received the new Whooo's Your Valentine kit that will be available to customers December 13th. It's part of the National Paper Crafting Month celebration. It's a fantastic kit filled with goodies like, treat tubes, glitter paper and a darling little stamp set filled with heart images, little owls and catchy "love" phrases.
The kit features your typical Valentine colors of blush, hollyhock and ruby red. However, if you want to express your love to the 'guys' in your life, they may not dig the pink color combination! The sky blue and lagoon colors are awesome with this glitter paper!
