Inspired Fall Wreath

I had my foam ready to make a fall wreath this season, then I found the perfect inspiration for it on Heart 2 Heart Challenges this week. It's a photo challenge and it's gorgeous!

{inspiration photo}

I started with some cheap foam from Home Depot, cut it and shaped it into a wreath. Then I wrapped it in burlap ribbon and used a small piece of grosgrain ribbon at the top for hanging.

I strung a banner at the top and added buttons for color & interest. The letters were cut using the Art Philosophy cartridge and the little flowers are some older My Stickease.

In the inspiration photo sit a couple of little owl centerpieces. Instead of an owl I used this little bird embellishment. I added it to the center of my chocolate striped grosgrain ribbon bow.

I like my little addition to the front door! If you feel inspired by this photo you should play along at Heart 2 Heart.
