Make & Take Project {Spring Open House}

I'll have some fun artwork to share with you that was created for my Spring Open House, but first I would like to share the Make & Take project. It was inspired by a similar card featured in the Spring 2013 Idea Book and by all the amazing new products.

I am also entering this card in this week's Heart 2 Heart challenge for all that glitters! It contains some great bling and the fabulous black shimmer trim!

Here is all the fabulous new products the ladies got to play with: C1533 Fabulous You MyAcrlix stamp set, Z1820 For Always Textiles (black script fabric), Z1811 For Always Assortment (lagoon flower), Z1813 Claire Assortment (clear flower), Z1752 Sparkles Assortment, Z1809 Black Shimmer Trim and they tried out the awesome new Non-stick micro tip scissors (Z1836).

Fall Fabric Card

I could not resist joining the fun challenge over at Ribbon Carousel this week! Using fabric on your project as well as the usual challenge of adding ribbon. I played with some fabrics on some scrapbooking pages last year and had some left over. Take a look at the card.

Now you see it! The fabric does all the work for me. I simply cut out the image I wanted and glued it to the front of my card base. Pretty cute and simple...I need to do more projects with fabric!

Fun with Fabric

While on vacation I found the cutest little fabric shop. Obviously if you follow my Blog I am a scrapbooker and paper crafter, not a sewer or quilter. {I leave that to my big sis!} However, when I look at these fabrics I can't help but appreciate the quality and the patterns! Throughout our vacation my daughter and I kept seeing these darling hair bows and I convinced her that I could make them and we shouldn't spend the money! So I had a little fun adding fabric to scrapbook pages and trying my hand at a new craft.

My daughter picked out these brightly colored fabrics~
