Charlotte Kit Cards

I've shared a couple of layouts that can be made using the Workshops Your Way kit. Today I would like to share the cards that you can create from the kit using the online guide. They use a mixture of papers, puffies, ribbon and sentiments, but what I really love is that you get to incorporate some water coloring with all three designs!

Take a closer look~

If your not a Scrapbooker, just imagine all the beautiful cards you can create with this workshop! You can order the Charlotte Workshop Your Way here and start creating!

Ice Cream Dream Complete Layout

You're probably thinking... "Why is she posting about the Ice Cream Dream stamp set, that was two months ago?!" Maybe you can think of it as a little Flashback Friday!! {tee-hee} Plus, I would hope that it still inspires you by the use of papers, the color combination, using some new and old stamp sets or simply the template (sketch) of the pages.

You will recall that I created a 12x12 page using the adorable Ice Cream stamp set in June. You can see the original post here. I had a couple ideas of possible pictures that I could place on it. I thought maybe we could visit our local ice cream shop this summer or perhaps there would be a chance to visit a favorite stop with my nieces in Lake Tahoe. I was so excited to get to do the second choice! The 45 minute wait in line at Camp Richardson is worth the memories!!

Now I had a main photo for the original page I created, but I couldn't leave out the individual pictures I took of my kids and my 2 beautiful nieces. So, I created a companion page. This page was so easy to put together and was inspired by a layout in the newest Idea Book coming in September!

I loved using the different blocks of paper and photo's to fill this page. If there was not a photo in a square then I used it to build clusters of stamped images and embellishments. This was inspired by the layout I saw in the new book as I mentioned earlier. The stamp set they used however is not brand new, in fact you may already have it in your stash. It's called Documenting Moments and is a super functional stamp set.

Here are a few close-ups of the clusters in individual squares.

This cute camera is from the new stamp set found in the Zoe Workshop on the Go available now!

This layout just makes me happy! I hope it inspires you to do some crafting today!!

Always Remember This Day

For some reason I found myself reaching for this month's Stamp of the Month for another wedding card. There is just something about it that really spoke to me.

I changed the stamp slightly by masking part of the phrase and replacing some other words. Instead of it saying "always remember something" I made it say, "always remember this day". I found the other words "this day" ironically on the Finding the Words stamp set (D1646).

I suppose that is my wish for the young couple getting married, because when I look back on my wedding day it seems to be such a blur!

Fall in Love With Ice Cream

With all of this warm weather right now I have cravings for Ice Cream! That was my inspiration for this clean and simple card for the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches this week.

I did a colorful chevron stamp and a zip strip from the For Always paper as the belly band. I thought the sentiment was pretty funny, "every time I see you, I fall in love all over again"! Yeah, it's like that!! How adorable is that ice cream truck? Finally some little heart puffies finishes off the card perfectly!

Lovely Mini's

I love creating mini cards, especially when I get to use some new products! Each of these cards feature some new papers or stamp set offered in the Seasonal Expressions Idea Book. You will also notice some adorable Puffies on each of them too!

They just keep getting cuter as you scroll down right?! Remember that many items featured in the Seasonal Expressions book are available for a limited time.

You're the Bomb Mini's

One of the first items on my wish list from the brand new Seasonal Expressions book was the You're the Bomb stamp set. This stamp set has the cutest little images and some great phrases in a fun hand written font. What really makes this stamp set cool though is that a portion of the proceeds is being donated to Operation Smile. You get an awesome stamp set while a child gets confidence through their smile for a lifetime! That is pretty cool!

I inked up a few of the images and phrases to create some mini 3x3 cards for my customers. With any purchase they get to choose a set of cards and wouldn't you know that I didn't have a single set of these left over!!

Did you see some new papers in there? how about that glitter paper? don't you just love the gold sequin and those new puffies?

Tomorrow is my annual Christmas card exchange. Instead of mini 3x3 cards for my customers I have a little something extra for them. It is the season of giving after all! Come back soon to see what goodies I have to share and to see the Christmas cards designed by myself and my talented customers!
