I'm getting down to just scraps with my Documented paper and complements collection! At first I was drawn to make cards with these papers, but after looking through the papers more carefully and the complement stickers that coordinate with it, I realized this collection is truly for documenting your story. I created a few layouts with some pictures in mind and some yet to be taken!
This first one is a two page layout that is simply colorful and happy. It uses much of the big flowers, a 'beautiful' sticker and a happy title provided by one of the PML cards.
I pulled out an older How To Book called Magic. Does anyone remember this book?
This next layout is a single page. Sometimes I have only one photo that I captured, but there is a great story to go with it. I have a pretty good idea of what this photo will be and the story, I just have yet to print it!
I get some great stories from my daughter who is away at college and she sends me the best pictures.
Lastly, as I stated from the beginning this collection of papers and complements begs you to tell your story. This PML card with a pink camera and journal lines is the perfect platform to write down your thoughts. I love the other sentiments and words found on a zip strip. These make embellishing your layout super easy!
The Documented collection is available until August 31st. If you have a story to tell make sure to get these products before they are gone!
Thanks for visiting! Remember you can shop anytime for these great products and many more on my online website.

Hello Lovely Layout
Typically a traditional 12x12 Scrapbooker will create a two-page coordinating layout. In my album for 2016, that I have yet to complete, I have set up monthly dividers which can lend itself to 2 page layouts, single pages or perhaps a 3 page layout! Sounds different, right? This helps me end monthly events at the divider, but also gives me some additional room for a few extra photo's or maybe one very special photo!
In this three-page layout, I am featuring some pictures of my daughter's Senior Homecoming. If you visit my Blog often, you'll know that she is my major inspiration and dominates most of my album! I'm trying to document so much as this is her last year in High School. She posed with her best friend and her daddy. Truly though she was a beauty in her black lace dress, with gold under tones and her hair curled up. The Hello Lovely paper collection was just the right touch of soft colors and gold glittery bling to compliment the black dress and beams of sunlight that shone into the pictures.
Take a look.
This is how the pages will be in order, with the third layout revealed after turning the page of course.
I did very little stamping to this page. The majority of the embellishments come from the coordinating complements. Here are a few closer looks at the decoration on the pages.
This paper collection is featured in the newest Seasonal Expressions Idea Book. It will be available until the end of April. This collection would also make lovely wedding or anniversary cards and layouts.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you are inspired by the Hello Lovely collection and stretching your scrapbook layouts!

Ice Cream Dream Complete Layout
You're probably thinking... "Why is she posting about the Ice Cream Dream stamp set, that was two months ago?!" Maybe you can think of it as a little Flashback Friday!! {tee-hee} Plus, I would hope that it still inspires you by the use of papers, the color combination, using some new and old stamp sets or simply the template (sketch) of the pages.
You will recall that I created a 12x12 page using the adorable Ice Cream stamp set in June. You can see the original post here. I had a couple ideas of possible pictures that I could place on it. I thought maybe we could visit our local ice cream shop this summer or perhaps there would be a chance to visit a favorite stop with my nieces in Lake Tahoe. I was so excited to get to do the second choice! The 45 minute wait in line at Camp Richardson is worth the memories!!
Now I had a main photo for the original page I created, but I couldn't leave out the individual pictures I took of my kids and my 2 beautiful nieces. So, I created a companion page. This page was so easy to put together and was inspired by a layout in the newest Idea Book coming in September!
I loved using the different blocks of paper and photo's to fill this page. If there was not a photo in a square then I used it to build clusters of stamped images and embellishments. This was inspired by the layout I saw in the new book as I mentioned earlier. The stamp set they used however is not brand new, in fact you may already have it in your stash. It's called Documenting Moments and is a super functional stamp set.
Here are a few close-ups of the clusters in individual squares.
This cute camera is from the new stamp set found in the Zoe Workshop on the Go available now!
This layout just makes me happy! I hope it inspires you to do some crafting today!!
You can find the products I mentioned in this post online here.

Picture My Life Workshop
I held my Picture My Life workshop this past Saturday. As you can see from the photo above I gave a sampling of different projects that can be created using any of these collections. The ladies enjoyed the workshop, had the freedom to create their own pages and were inspired by the ideas I shared. They had several more ideas to contribute by the end of the class. Here are a few ideas I showed them.
I started by showing the basic idea of the Picture My Life collections. I had a few sample pages using the new Pear & Partridge cards. I also had some pages from my own personal scrapbook in the Surf's Up collection. They were able to see pages with photo's and lots of my own journaling. These pages also had a few added embellishments and stamping on them so they could see how to incorporate more products and our amazing My Acrylix stamp sets.
To add even more interest and possibility to the page, I showed the ladies how you can add an accordion folded section of cardstock that can be unfolded and pulled out for more pictures or journaling.
How about using the cards in your home decor! They can easily be added to the designer decor frame with little wooden clothespins. I like this idea, because you can change up your decor with the latest events in your family!
Mini albums are a quick and easy way to showcase pictures from a recent celebration or event, rather than a 12x12 scrapbook page. You can use the cards in a Kraft binder mini album like I did in this post of my son's graduation book or you can actually create a mini album with the cards and some Washi tape. For this mini book I used the Later Sk8r PML collection and some various Washi tape to bind them all together.
Finally, I showed them how easily the PML cards can be added to a standard greeting card. You can use them alone with just some papers or dress it up further with some stamping and embellishing. Here is one of the boxed card samples I showed them in the Laughing Lola papers. I also demonstrated this using the Pear & Partridge collection, but gave both the sample cards away before taking a picture of them! {oops!}
I think the only way I did not show the PML collection was in our Base & Bling jewelry, but I bet we can create that too! Don't forget about the special this month where you can purchase additional protector sheets for only $3 when you order one of the Picture My Life collections. See all the details in the right hand column or shop online here.

Soaking in the Sun
Today I am playing along with two challenges. The first challenge is a new Blog I have been visiting. I have wanted to play along from the beginning, but was unable to squeeze in some creative time. It is the new Close To My Heart Color My Heart ~ Color Dare Blog. This is their 5th challenge and the dare is one of my favorites! Create-your-own Rainbow based
on the color
wheel!
The other challenge is for Inspired By Blog that had this great photo inspiration this week.

The page I created for these two challenges is from a recent vacation to the beach. I was able to brighten the photo with the surrounding rainbow colors and the pattern is from the inspiration photo. What appears to be a fairly simple layout was actually quite time consuming, but I {heart} the result!

Butterfly Birthday Layout
Keeping with the theme of this week, I wanted to share with you the layout I did for my daughter's Birthday pictures. I added in some leftover butterflies and stamped some new ones with various background stamps. Please excuse the glare from the page protectors. The reason they are photographed this way was for the flip flap and some of the butterflies are attached as a 3D feature outside of the protector.
