I recently did a big clean up and re-organized my scrapbook room. Once I get it all done I feel much better and am able to create again. I love finding older items I forgot I had....some of you know what I mean! I hate that I've forgotten about such wonderful products and want to put them to use rather than let them continue to be forgotten. I can only guess that this happens, because we are thrilled to see and use the new items!!
So I decided to use the older chipboard pieces from the My Originals Sweet Surprises Card Kit. This was a kit that included treat cups to fill with candy and supplied you with everything you needed to complete 3D cards with a box style envelope. Because they are such a thick card when completed I decided to use them as a gift card that I would personally hand to the recipient. Therefore, I made a to/from tag to wrap around the envelope.
For the new product, I chose some Fundamental Papers from the Whimsy and Adventure Assortment! I love these papers, they are certainly one of my favorite new items and was just the touch of pizzaz I needed for these sweet cards!
Here are all 4 cards~
Here are each of the cards with the decorated envelope and tag~
lastly, just the tags~
The Sweet Surprises Card Kit is no longer available, but the Paper Fundamentals are. I would suggest getting them in every color, they are simply stunning! Shop online here.

A Few of My Favorite Things
Looking back through my blog this year, I realize that I have created many fun items. I really had a great time participating in challenges, being a design team member and creating unique items for my own Close To My Heart classes. These are just a few of my favorite things~
As you can see my creations are varied. Whether it's a card, scrapbook page or home decor item, I create it 100% from my heart. You can bet that I will be back next year pouring my love and passion into papers and ink!! See you next year! ;)

Frightful Friday ~ Tags & Treats
Today's post is something frightful and a few sweet treats. These tags were created from the new stamp set Fright Night. I used the haunted colors of Goldrush, Black and the new Pear green and Gypsy purple. I blinged them up a bit with some orange bubbles and black glitter.

This little goodie bag was made just for "Boo-ing" some co-workers! Hopefully they will pass on the yumm-i-ness!

Christmas Tags
I enjoy creating Christmas tags for my packages. I always try to make them match or coordinate and I had some fun wrapping paper from last seasons clearance section. Making tags is also a great way to use up some of those scrap papers we collect from other projects.
You are probably thinking that it's awfully early to have packages wrapped. Well, would you believe these gifts have already been opened and the recipients are playing with them right now! My nieces are visiting me this weekend and we will not see them again for the Holidays, so I thought it would be fun to have Christmas gifts early. They liked that idea too!
Spare scraps of cardstock in Cranberry, Heavenly Blue and Sweet Leaf were used to make these. The stamped sentiment if from the Just for the Holidays stamp set.

Simply Wrapped
I wanted to share these simply wrapped gifts. I enjoy wrapping up gifts for Christmas, Birthdays or any special occasion. My Aunt would wrap gifts in the comic pages of the newspaper and tie them together with thick colored yarn. I really like the idea of recycling too. These gifts were wrapped in brown paper and I tied them together with some fun, bright, polka dot ribbon. I simply stamped a frame tag and attatched it with floss to the bow. It's really simple, but not plain!

You've Been Tagged!
In an earlier post I mentioned that I like to make little Thank You tags or cards for my ordering customers. I managed to save just a few of them and snapped some pics recently to show all of you. {some readers may have these little goodies of their own!} They are fun to make and hope that the recipient truly knows how grateful I am to their loyalty.
