Just a happy little card using the Oh So Happy papers and embellishments. I believe the rainbow was actually from the cut above page in the Crafting with Heart subscription. I did not want to incorporate it in the page as instructed, but did not want it to be forgotten! I repurposed it on a greeting card that will undoubtedly brighten someone's day!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope this card brightened your day!

More of So Much Happy
Sometimes when I get out a paper collection, I just sort-of get on a role! After creating a scrapbook layout, I kept making beautiful things with this cute collection. My next endeavor were some more cards using more of those adorable Complements, cut-apart pieces and lovely papers.
This first card is kind-a cute and the second card is for a kind friend! Don't you just love this bird hitching a ride on this stretched out pooch. I just tied a balloon on and set them in some thin-cut grass! Any animal lover will appreciate receiving this card on their "Bird-day"!
As if this floral paper in the collection wasn't enough, I've added a bold yellow sentiment from the cut-apart papers. It is centered on an embossed circle and raised up on 3D foam. The 'friend' sentiment comes from the itty bitty alphabet stickers on the Complements sheet. Super simple to add just about any sentiment you wish. Instead of 'friend' I could have said 'nose picker'. It makes me think of that old saying, "You can pick your nose and you can pick your friends, but you can't pick your friends' nose!" or Something like that!
Hope you liked these cards and had a laugh! Hope your day is filled with So Much Happy!

Center Step Giraffe Birthday Card
I have a happy card for you today! Its a center step card featuring a dapper giraffe.
The giraffe is from a birthday card kit so he was super easy to add to the center of the card. Isn't he so cute! Who wouldn't love a Birthday wish from this guy?

Pop Art Birthday Card
Some time ago the Make It from Your Heart Blog posted some beautiful cards with matching envelopes. One of the cards really caught my eye and I wanted to recreate it with just some slight differences. I discovered that this card is a great design for using up some older scrap pieces of paper and to use those bits of embellishments that are left over from precious projects.
Isn't that fun! I used my paper trimmer to cut the triangles, but you could easily use a Cricut machine for mass production. Thanks for stopping by.

Polka Dot Party Animal
Can you believe that we are already half way through February? That means that we are getting closer to the deadline to purchase the Stamp of the Month at a discounted price of only $5! This is such an adorable stamp set too. I have been enjoying making cards and scrapbook pages with it.
On this card I used the iconic dog balloon image as the focus on the bold, black and white polka dot paper. This paper comes from the La Vie En Rose paper collection. A simple birthday sentiment and some yellow twine completes this party ready card!
Get the Balloon Animals stamp set for just $5 with a qualifying order. Shop online here.

Pink Elephants
Heart 2 Heart Challenges Blog is asking what is our favorite paper collection. It's difficult to pick only one as each collection can serve a different purpose... holiday's, outdoor, big and small celebrations! Sometimes a paper pack can be versatile, fitting many different themes. I have to say that I fell in love with Charlotte at first sight. I love the soft color combination and how gorgeous it looks with pops of gold. I also love the floral print, but appreciate the modern and trendy prints too.
On this card I used those more trending prints to create a cute card with the Stamp of the Month Balloon Animals. It can be a playful Birthday card or even a baby card.
You can get the Balloon Animals for only $5 this month with qualifying order. Add the Charlotte paper pack in your cart too, you won't regret it!

Hooray, It's Your Day!
My card today was made for the Freshly Made Sketches Blog. The cute octopus can be found in the newest Seasonal Expression Idea Book along with the Regatta paper collection. The stamp is called Beach Days. (D1684) The beauty of this stamp is that you can cut the shape out on your Artistry Cricut, then all you do is stamp! The balloons and the "Hooray" sentiment are from some older stamp sets, however the "It's Your Day!" is from a brand new stamp that will be available this Monday! Stay tuned for that!

Sweet and Studly Georgie
I just received some of the new Georgie papers and I'm already in love with its color scheme and patterns. Here is a little card I did for a birthday that can be for someone younger. The elephants are adorable are work perfectly for an infant or small child.
The other patterns in the pack are well suited for someone older, maybe even a teen would love the colors and chevron pattern! {This was proven when my teenage daughter entered my craft room and immediately saw it on my desk and said "Oooh! This is a cool card, who is it for?"} ;)
A simple white and gray color combo makes this paper collection great for a masculine card. Even a little bit of a deep gray glitter paper and metal triangles looks stunning with it! Plus the sentiment is funny and we can all use more humor in our lives! {Laughing makes you live longer too!}
I hope that you will look at the Georgie paper for much more than just baby showers, it really is a great collection!

I created a simple, no frills birthday card for Freshly Made Sketches this week. I used some of my favorite Fundamentals Paper in a subtle beige and blue combination. {flaxen & glacier} The little present comes from this month's promotion Hello, Life!
Sometimes its best not to fuss over the details, in fact these shiny patterned papers are all you need! Did you know that the 2015-16 Annual Idea Book contains all new patterns of the Paper Fundamentals in all of the color collections? Check out pages 108 & 109 to see all the patterns and colors. Plus, if you continue to look on pages 110 & 111 you will see the all new coordinating sticker packs and assortments.
Are those awesome!? Take a look in the new book or shop online in you favorite color combo or get them all for a superior collection of scrapbooking and card making materials!

March Crate Card Club with a Summer Preview
Spring truly arrived this weekend bringing wonderfully warm weather. At my Crate Card Club meeting this Saturday I had all the windows open allowing the fresh air and sunshine in, as well as my talented CCC members! Our cards included a few Birthday themes, Easter and St. Patrick's day. As always it was a mix of colors, embellishments, papers and stamps!
Participants were also given their very first look at the new Seasonal Expression 2 publication and some of the new products inside.
This first card is my own. I wanted to show them how to paper piece this cupcake card cut out on the Artfully Sent cartridge. I went with a Birthday theme as March is a big month for Birthday's in my family. I also showed them how quick and easy it is to color silver sequins with our Shin Han Touch Markers. Such a cool technique, making a great product even more versatile!
I had the new Seasonal Expressions 2 book on display with some strawberries inspired by the front cover. These cuties are cut on the Artiste cartridge as is the basket they are in. I cut them smaller than shown on the book which made it a little tricky to assemble. They still look cute and made the display complete.

Confetti Wishes Zip Strip Card
I saw this idea online, but can't recall the originator. It was just such a simply brilliant idea that I locked the inspiration in my mind and finally sat down to create it. This card contains all the papers found in the Confetti Wishes paper collection. It also uses one of the zip strips with catch phrases that are all about celebrating Birthdays! You can practically make this card from your scraps, just be sure to save those zip strips, they are so useful!

January Crate Card Club
This past weekend I held by Crate Card Club. I had a total of 5 participants, including myself and as always we each brought a different idea to the table. With Valentine's Day next month we had a few cards in a "love" theme, but then the other cards varied in occasions!
To start I am sharing my own card. I went with the Valentine them, but this card "popped" with a different twist on it! My customers have been asking lots of questions about the Artfully Sent cartridge so I wanted to give them an example.
Love Bug~
Pretty simple card from with some heart embossing and that "awesome" You're the Bomb stamp set!
Then you open and the fun pops out inside! A super cute "love bug" with glitter headlights greets you inside!
Elegant Country Tree~
Fabulous Feathers~
Lovely Love~
Happy Tags Birthday~
This club is really turning out to be lots of fun. I love seeing the ideas and getting to be the student again! I wonder what you'll do next month?!
