What makes them similar? Well, over on Aaron's Blog she challenges us to get inspired by this photograph. {below} Sooo cute! While over on the Heart 2 Heart Blog we are challenged to recycle this week. How funny to me, because that's exactly what's happening in this photograph. If I had some old worn out rain boots, I would totally create planters with them. What a stylish way to recycle!! 
To begin my project, I have this 12x12 bag bulging at the seams with scraps of card stock as well as some B&T papers. I hate to throw anything away. I'm certain that I will get around to using it again. 
Perfect! I find some scraps of brightly colored card stock similar to those in the photograph. I stamp a couple of rain boots on them.
After cutting them out I decided to make them appear shiny just like a real rain boot does. For this I press the boot directly on a versamark pad, sprinkle with clear embossing powder, and heat to a shiny appearance.
A few slick rain boots, just hangin' out!
