Scramp Club Calendar

Here is a fun calendar I created to keep track of upcoming club dates. I used January's Stamp of the Month called Moments in Time. Each page measures 4x4 and is kept together on a jump ring. The Moments in Time stamp set comes with all the mini calendars, frames, months and dates. It also contains little shapes like stars and circles perfect for indicating the date of my class or workshop. I focused on a few pages from the calendar to show the newest Connection Club Reward; Clear Shapes. These were super easy to work with. You can punch holes in them to secure it with a brad or mount on cardstock with liquid glass. What a great little project, I already have more ideas bubbling in my head.

Family Foto Fun!

We only took one good family photo all year, so I used it for some holiday projects. The first project is the Christmas card I sent out to family members. I used the new Confidential stamp set. I just love the clipboard stamp and it really comes to life when you emboss it in silver powder. Inside the card I created a pocket to hold wallet size photo's of my children. I was worried that the envelope would require more postage, but they did not.

The second project was the cover of the calendar that I posted a couple weeks before. The entire calendar was actually a gift for my children's grandparents, and they loved it. Now they will receive up-to-date photo's to fill the calendar pages all through the year!

Those are the Key To My Heart papers and stamp set I used on that page. Just the numbers and letters (2009 & of) are from the friendship alphabet sets.

Hey there cupcake!

Our lives can become so busy, especially around the Holidays. It is so easy to forget other events, such as birthdays. I was reminded of my nieces birthday and wanted to play with this new cupcake stamp set anyways. So here is a little birthday card for the "sweet" girl, and it will arrive in time for her special day!

I used the papers from the current Key To My Heart promotion. They really are gorgeous, don't miss out on this limited time offer!

Snow Day in Vegas??

This is the first ever "Snow Day" for my children. There is no school today because Las Vegas and surrounding areas received some snow. They sure had a good time playing in it and attempting to build a snowman! All the snow is practically melted now and it's only 2:30 in the afternoon. Oh well, maybe the next storm will bring us more snow for Christmas Day!

Christmas Card Exchange

Here are the results from my annual Christmas Card Exchange. I loved seeing all the different cards made from several talented ladies. {Thanks again for participating!}

Once I collected all the cards, I made this paper bag to place them all inside and give them back to the recipient. My own card for the swap was made to match the bag.

These are the rest of the cards that were submitted. Some were fun and whimsical and others were classy and elegant. All were awesome!

I love the idea of taking one design or template and creating such different and unique cards from it. These are some Christmas themed cards using a design from the Originals book. I hope to create more cards from some of the other designs in the book soon.

Paper Beaded Bracelet

Here is a fun gift idea made from your scrapbooking supplies. Roll a thin triangular sheet of paper on a toothpick and coat with liquid glass. Allow to dry overnight, then string them together for a bracelet or necklace!

Believe

This is a christmas card that I made with the intention of using for a card swap. Regardless, I changed my mind and will use a different one now. I still like it though, the colors appeal to me because they are light and pretty! Check back soon as I will reveal all the cards received for my 2008 Christmas Card Swap!

My Calendar

The Holidays have me busy, but this latest project really had me busy. I thought that creating my own calendar would be a simple and fast project. It is not difficult by any means, but it is quite time consuming. However, it is rewarding to see the final result and will be made special with each passing month as I place photos on it.

Here is what the calendar will look like hanging up. I coordinated the ink color of the dates (numbers) with the page.
