No Tricks Just Treats

Halloween will be here before we know it! Be sure to get the Stamp of the Month for September as it has a great sentiment that you can use on your Halloween cards. The Hello Pumpkin Paper collection works really well with the stamp set and can be combined with other spooky colors as you will see on these cards.

I used the same pattern for all 3 cards. {Make It from Your Heart Vol. 4, Pattern 10, page 24} You can simply leave your card colors as the traditional orange and black, or mix in some Lagoon and a purple (pansy or thistle works well) and you really get a pop!

Aren't those fun! Come back soon and I'll show you more cards I created with this special stamp set that you can get this month only at a discounted price of only $5!

Halloween Step Cards

I like the center and side step card design, because they are like displays of art. They are not your ordinary card and they easily set up on a shelf to become a work of art and not just a card. Here are a couple I created for Halloween.

Do you remember the Purrfect Halloween stamp of the month? I'm still putting it to good use!

Not just a card anymore, little works of art to decorate for the holiday! I hope you found some inspiration here today! Have a safe and happy Halloween!

Artfully Sent Halloween Cards

At my recent card exchange I did a quick tutorial with the Artfully Sent cartridge while the girls grabbed some delicious Fall food! We explored the Halloween cards in the book. Take a look at some of the cards I had on display.

This was the very first Halloween card that I wanted to create from the cartridge. I just love how detailed the house is and that it is the front of the card. It was incredibly easy to create from start to finish and looks like you spent a good bit of time on it!

This is a swing card that was also easy to create. It can be left simple and be completed quickly, however I did a little fussy cutting to add some cardstock and a zip strip to the front. I simply added a stamped tag, ribbon, button and arrow Washi tape!

I have more cards to share with you from these Halloween keys on the Artfully Sent cartridge. Come back soon!

Halloween Cards

I created two Halloween cards to send out to friends and family this year. I am also entering them in the Ribbon Carousel Challenge this week. On this first card you really have to look closely to see the "ribbon" I used. Did you find it? It is actually the "BOO" sentiment. I cut a small portion of the ribbon and used it as the sentiment detail of my card. I also went for an unusual color combination for Halloween, what do you think?

This next card keeps with very traditional colors typically associated with the Halloween holiday. I had fun painting these chipboard stars white then embellishing them with a big brad and sparkly rhinestone. My choice of ribbon for this card is some white ric rac.
