Joy of Giving

First off, I want to say how happy I am that my Summer Wishes Jar was chosen as the Friday Five on Heart 2 Heart Challenges Blog. I really enjoyed creating it and will cherish it and the memories it contains for years to come. I am just thrilled that others liked it too.

I really enjoy giving my creations to others also. I am a scrapbooker and card maker, but I like to refer to myself as a "gift specialists". I especially enjoy spoiling my Nieces and Nephews. I could just buy a toy from the store, but I love to make them little crafty items too.

Here is a coloring book I made for my 4 year old nephew. He can color the pages on a car ride or perhaps when he's hanging out with his Grandparents. When he is done coloring it, his parents may want to hold on to it as a little treasure or keep sake.

This is the card I made for him. I did some random stamping and embossing on it. It's just fun and totally rockin'!

I also enjoy giving my time. Last week I had a friend stop by that is brand new to scrapbooking. She wanted to create an album for her sons first communion. When it was complete, she was thrilled with it! To witness her joy is so rewarding.
